How can I increase my buying or selling limits?
Your buying and selling limits vary depending on your account level, so there is theoretically no fixed limit, as you have the possibility to increase your limits by providing the corresponding documents.
What are the limits associated with each account level?
If you are a resident of one of these 3 countries: France, Spain, or Italy, you will have, depending on your account level, the following limits:
| Account Level | Global Purchase Limit | INCLUDING (by credit card) |
| 1 | €10,000 (lifetime) | €1,000 (lifetime) |
| 2 | €30,000 (per year) | €2,000 (per day) |
| 3 | from €30,000 (per year) | €5,000 (per day) |
If you are a resident of a country in the SEPA zone (not mentioned above), your purchase limits will be as follows:
| Account Level | Global Purchase Limit | INCLUDING (by credit card) |
| 1 | €5,000 (lifetime) | €1,000 (lifetime) |
| 2 | €10,000 (per year) | €2,000 (per day) |
| 3 | Custom | €5,000 (per day) |
ℹ️ The limit at level 1 may be lower than the one shown in this table for compliance reasons. In that case, we invite you to contact our support team directly to learn more.
How can I increase my purchase limits?
By upgrading to a higher level via your profile:
- Click on "Profile"
- Click on "Investment Limits"
- Click on "Upgrade to level ..."

If you are already at level 3, you can increase your purchase limit by following the same steps as above and clicking on "Add more documents" (you will need to provide different income documents each time you increase your purchase limits).
How can I increase my selling limits?
At Coinhouse, you can sell without limits the cryptocurrencies you have purchased directly on our platform.
However, if you wish to sell funds from external platforms, you will need to upgrade to "level 2" to benefit from a selling limit of €10,000.
To sell more than €10,000 of assets deposited on Coinhouse, you will need to justify the origin of your funds by providing the necessary documents, such as a purchase invoice or transaction history.
Why are these supporting documents requested?
Under AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism) regulations, Coinhouse is required to verify the origin of invested funds and ensure that each limit level is consistent with your personal situation.
These documents (such as a tax notice or proof of income) help guarantee the security of your account and compliance with legal obligations.
